|
Northwestern Oklahoma State spotted Missouri Valley to an early first-quarter touchdown, then retaliated with a 42-point unanswered scoring barrage that provided the Rangers with their second straight Wheat Bowl Football Classic victory. NWOSU quarterback Al Hunt had a hand in three touchdowns on the game, romping for one score and passing for another in the second period as the Rangers broke to a comfortable 28-7 intermission advantage. Northwestern's record-shattering performance came before a Wheat Bowl record crowd of 5,853 at the Ellinwood Sports Complex. |
