"We have a strong core of players returning. Our returning players' importance is not only on the field with their playing ability, but more importantly through their leadership. We have a specific way of doing things at Bethany and it is very important for the returners to show the newcomers the way," said coach Hubbard.
"Our staff is very optimistic for the upcoming season. We feel that our success will be a direct result of the hard work the coaches and players have put in for preparation for the seas on. It will be a season of peaks and valleys, but that is no different from any season. The only way to be ultimately successful through the trials and tribulations is through hard work, discipline, the drive to stay the course, and the character of our team," later added Hubbard. "Our playing goals will never change from working to win the next game and the long term goal of competing for championships. Although we will change our game plan for each opponent, our demeanor will never falter from being a team of hard-nosed football players, that will out-work and out-tough our opponents."
Coach Hubbard says this about the offense:
Implementing a new scheme is always a fun and trying time. Our guys have put in a lot of work to learn the details of it and I am excited to see where it goes. Our success offensively will come from how well we can run the ball and how efficiently we distribute the ball to our receivers.
Coach Hubbard says this about the defense:
Defensively I am excited to see where we match up with our opponents. We have a great scheme that emulates the style of football our entire team wants to play. Our goal is to be sound, fly to the ball, and make the opponents offense uncomfortable.
