JACSKON,
Miss. -- University of Saint Francis quarterback Chris Bramell will not be able to play in the Magnolia Gridiron All-Star Classic this Saturday after doctors determined his has sustained ligament damage to his elbow.
Bramell ( Indianapolis / Franklin Central H.S.) said he injured his right elbow when he tried to push away from a tackler in the second half of the NAIA Football National Championship Game last Saturday against Carroll College. Bramell plans on staying for the game and returning to Indianapolis afterwards.
“I was able to go through the NFL testing and think I did well,” Bramell reported. Testing includes the 40-yard dash and vertical jump. “Surgery is a possibility, but they also said it might be something that could be handled through rehab.”
